“ Angelica is literally such a sweet girl. We loved her service she got us our order and made sure to get the sauces and lime and she was so accommodating and genuinely friendly and fun to interact with - she made me and my friend Chloe's night!!!! Such a gem! Will be coming to this rubios more often now! The Mexican street corn bowl is amazing and we added Mango Salsa too!! So DELICIOUS ”
“ Visiting family in the area and my uncle raved about the fish tacos so my family and I stopped by for lunch. The fish tacos were perfect and cooked to perfection. Tacos came with tortilla chips and refried beans. I also ordered a side of Mexican street corn and it did not disappoint! Added bonus was the salsa bar with many options of salsas at all spice levels. I also enjoyed the iced mango lime tea, super refreshing. This is a nice casual spot just a bit pricey. I wish they had some options for queso. Also upon completion of a customer survey we got churros for free. The cashier seemed a bit annoyed with processing our surveys but the churros were awesome and well worth our trouble. Our party of 5 left happy and full. Next time I'm in the area I will definitely return again! ”

We came late at night and everyone was so positive and happy for it being one hour from closing. Our food came out fast and tasted great. We were sad when our Rubio's closed, glad we found this one. ”

“ Used to eat at Rubios in Irvine a lot but it's been years. Found an old gift card and decided to try the MV store. I had read the reviews so wasn't expecting much. I was very pleasantly surprised. Got there about 11:15 and had a couple of Ubers in front of me so thought I'd have a wait but wasn't bad. Restaurant was small but very clean. Salsa bar was full and also very clean. Was greeted immediately. Ordered the classic shrimp burrito and classic taco plate to go. Burro was solid. Decent amount of shrimp and good flavor. Was a little pricey $12 for the size and was glad I had the tacos. They were as remembered. Nice size fish pieces and good flavor. Never understood why they don't grill the corn tortillas so pulled the fish out and was fine $25 for the meal and my gift card was $0 (thx for the illegal drawdown!!!) Don't know if I'll be back but wasn't as bad as the reviews suggest. ”
“ Ordered for dinner tonight, the food was all great. My children got milks with their kids meals, and took a sip and complained about it being chunky, I took a sip And about threw up immediately. Here is picture and video of said milk, when I decided to dump them out. Rubios might want to trash that entire lot of March 2025 exp date milks. ”
